As much as I like fermenting various vegetables, I still miss the tangy, vinegary goodness of simple pickles. Plus, pickling is faster, appealing to my occasional need for instant gratification.
I think it’s safe to say that this recipe would lend itself well to other veggies. Radishes and carrots come to mind.
